What is this?

The Chinatown Cake Club was started in December 2009 as a private, casual fan club for desserts, or a 'secret bakery' for those in the know. Located in a clandestine tenement in New York City's Chinatown, the CCC is open for approximately six hours once a month. Elaborate desserts, coffees, and teas are served, and you are welcome to stay and socialize, watch screened movies, read newspapers, or simply sit in the corner and eat cake until you puke. Each month the CCC features an exciting new menu and a special cake tribute to a selected artist, all to be revealed once you arrive.

How can I come?

Signing up for the mailing list lets you receive news about upcoming opening dates and instructions on how to RSVP. Capacity is limited - not because we are against you eating cake, but because the space is quite tiny. Reservations are taken first come, first serve or by invitation only.
